Peace & Loyalty Fundraising
Peace and Loyalty Lodge No. 261 held a special function on Sunday 20th September 2009 in aid of our District Charity, at the Ferntree Gully Masonic Centre.
I am pleased to say that the function was a resounding success, and a cheque for $892 was presented on the night to Interchange Outer East.
The District Panel has recommended that the District support this program for 3 years, at a cost of $15,000 per year, with the second $15,000 being required by the 30th June, 2010. I believe that this is an excellent on going charity for the Monash Gully District. The program is called THE FREEMASONS SIBLING GROUP PROGRAM.
I am sure that all Lodges in the Monash Gully District will support this very needy charity. Donations are Tax Deductable and cheques should be made out to Monash Gully District and posted to: Roland Denison, 73 Ayr Street, DONCASTER Vic 3108.
